Where to find the best pungko-pungko?

"Sibuyas ki"
Those are the words I usually hear everytime I eat pungko-pungko/pungko2x.

What really is pungko-pungko?

Pungko is the bisaya/cebuano term of “squat” and pungko-pungko is popularly known as a way of eating wherein customers sit on low benches along the roadside with a container or several trays containing a variety of dishes on top of the table.

Ginabot or deep-fried pork intestines, crab meat, shrimp, longganisa, hotdogs, fried chicken and pork, fried meatballs and stuffed egg paired with puso or hanging rice and sauce made of vinegar and sliced onions, these are the assorted food that's in pungko-pungko.

I remember the time when my friends had to force me to eat because I was hesitant in eating these kind of foods since most of them are from internal organs and it's a street food.
But by the time I tasted, all I can say was "uy ok man diay! lami man..". My friends' "bulatik" paid off.

But I admit, I was never a fun of eating pungko-pungko because the taste wasn't good.
Until my boyfriend introduced the pungko-pungko at Salazar (beside CIT school).
I was like "lamia lagi fren"… hahaha.. as in lami jud kaau..

And so with their suka(vinegar) and unlimited sibuyas(onion) that you'll surely love and enjoy eating.
Pungko-pungko there is perfect for your diet! hahaha
